Privacy Policy
hauntedflagstaffbook.com is a static informational website for the book Haunted Flagstaff by Susan Johnson. It hosts no forms or accounts and asks for no personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it: the pages you visit, how you arrived (a search engine, a link, or a direct visit), your device and browser type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and interactions such as clicking a retailer link to buy the book. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that hold a random visitor identifier. They do not store your name, email address, or payment details, and we do not use analytics data for personalized advertising.
The four Susan Johnson websites (susanjohnson.org, hauntedflagstaffbook.com, walkupfamilymurders.com, and wickedflagstaff.com) share one analytics identifier, so a visit that moves between them is counted as one visit rather than several. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings; the site works the same either way.
Outbound links
Outbound links lead to retailers and other third parties, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Google Play, Arcadia Publishing, and local Flagstaff shops. Once you leave this site, those parties’ own privacy policies apply. Some Amazon links are affiliate links, which means the retailer may pay this site a commission on qualifying purchases; that happens on the retailer’s side and involves no data collection here.
